City of Monash is seeking a Tree Establishment Officer to lead tree planting, establishment, and urban greening across council land. You will support strategic greenery programs and help reach canopy targets while advising internal and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes specialist guidance, project coordination, and building strong partnerships with residents, contractors, and government agencies to deliver greening outcomes.

Formación

• This role requires formal qualifications in horticulture or arboriculture with relevant experience.
• Experience delivering tree planting, establishment, and city greening programs is essential.
• Knowledge of urban tree species and selection for urban environments is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and deliver Council's tree planting, establishment and urban greening programs.
• Support strategic greening initiatives and city canopy targets (30% by 2040).
• Provide specialist advice and engage stakeholders across projects and sites.
• Deliver customer-focused service and foster partnerships with residents and contractors.
