This senior role focuses on coordinating contractors, engaging residents, and ensuring works meet safety and contractual standards, with strong emphasis on urban forestry outcomes and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture, horticulture, urban forestry or related field.
• Knowledge of tree species selection and planting in urban settings.
• Experience coordinating contractors and engaging stakeholders.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver Kingston's annual tree planting programs across Council land.
• Identify planting opportunities and allocate species for canopy and biodiversity.
• Coordinate and manage planting contractors, ensuring safety and contractual compliance.
• Engage residents and respond to enquiries about planting programs.
• Monitor establishment of trees and maintain accurate records.
