Job summary

RecruitR Pty in inner Brisbane is seeking a civil engineer to step into a second Civil Team Lead role. This is a confidential search for a full-time position, not a replacement, with a blend of leadership and hands-on delivery across major built-form projects.

You'll lead and mentor around 20 engineers and drafters, coordinate budgets and schedules, and ensure projects run on track while retaining hands-on design and site works. Flexible/hybrid working is offered.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified civil engineer with significant leadership experience.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and designers.
• Strong track record on civil components of building projects (residential, health, education or commercial).
• Comfortable managing budgets and programs across a portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a Civil Team of engineers and drafters (approx. 20 people).
• Deliver the civil components of major built-form projects (site works, stormwater, earthworks, pavements, services and approvals).
• Share leadership responsibilities (30% of time) and ensure alignment across the team.
