Job summary

NES Fircroft is seeking an experienced Upstream Field Safety & Environment (S&E) Integration Advisor for a 12-month contract supporting upstream field operations. The role involves coaching and mentoring S&E Advisors, driving risk-based assurance and improving ISO 14001 Environmental Management System implementation.

You will work on a 15/13 FIFO roster from Brisbane, engaging stakeholders to promote proactive safety and environmental culture while ensuring compliance with Australian regulation

Qualifications

• 10+ years' environmental management experience in oil and gas, energy or heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and HSSE Management Systems.
• Experience with field assurance, risk management, compliance audits and environmental regulatory requirements.
• Proven coaching and mentoring skills to develop S&E personnel.
• Current driver's licence; ability to work in remote field environments.
• A Diploma in Safety or Environmental Sustainability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor field-based S&E Advisors, supporting capability development and cross-skilling.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSSE Management Systems and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems.
• Develop and improve field-based assurance tools, procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct risk-based assurance activities, inspections and compliance audits.
• Analyse assurance findings and risk data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support risk register reviews and the effectiveness of safety and environmental controls.
• Engage with stakeholders to promote a proactive safety and environmental culture.
