This fast-paced role requires strong Excel and data management skills, excellent communication, and attention to detail to ensure stock accuracy, timely replenishment, and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain.
• Strong Excel and data management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Forklift licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily inventory levels and stock availability
• Coordinate replenishment of airline equipment and supplies
• Liaise with airlines, logistics providers, and customs brokers
• Conduct stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory records
• Track and report on stock issues, delays, and discrepancies
• Forecast stock requirements to meet operational demand
• Maintain documentation for audits and compliance

About The Role

We are seeking a proactive and detail‑oriented Unit Logistics Officer to join our Purchasing team based at Sydney Airport. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels of airline equipment and catering supplies, ensuring stock availability to meet daily operational demand across multiple airline partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage daily inventory levels and stock availability
• Coordinate replenishment of airline equipment and supplies
• Liaise with airlines, logistics providers, and customs brokers
