Job summary

Ryman Healthcare in Victoria invites applications for a Registered Nurse in-charge at Nellie Melba Retirement Village, Wheelers Hill. This full-time fixed-term role focuses on delivering compassionate, high‑quality care and supporting residents and families.

You will lead, motivate and develop your team, ensure accurate documentation and provide strong support to the Clinical Manager. Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 07:00–15:00.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with leadership experience in a care setting.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while delivering high-quality care.
• Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate nursing team to deliver excellent care in the Low Care Unit.
• Develop, motivate and support team members.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation.
• Provide support to the Clinical Manager.

Based at our beautiful Nellie Melba Retirement Village in Wheelers Hill, you will use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app - and all your nursing and people skills to:

• Ensure compassionate and excellent quality care is provided to all residents in ourLow Care Unit
• Coordinate, motivate and develop your team
• Complete accurate and timely documentation
• Provide support to your Clinical Manager

We have a full-time, 12 month fixed term role available working Sunday to Thursday, 0700am to 1500pm.

About you

To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:

• Previous experience as a Registered Nurse in-charge or within a previous nursing leadership role
• The ability to lead, share knowledge and motivate your team
