Job summary

Ryman Healthcare is seeking a Resident Services Manager for Charles Brownlow Retirement Village, Highton. This Full Time role (0830–1630) requires on-call flexibility and leads multiple village service teams alongside senior leaders in a vibrant community.

You will drive health and safety oversight, recruitment, inductions, payroll support, rostering, and overall service delivery to residents, staff, and families.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience with emphasis on Health and Safety.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong customer service focus and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with HR tasks: inductions, recruitment, training, performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of village service functions (kitchen, housekeeping, laundry, administration).
• Oversee risk management and health and safety processes for the village.
• Handle HR tasks including inductions, recruitment, training, performance reviews and payroll assistance.
• Manage rosters for Auxiliary teams to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Provide leadership at the Village level in the absence of the Village Manager.

About the role

We have an exciting opportunity to join our leadership team as a Resident Services Manager at Charles Brownlow Retirement Village in HightonThis is a Full Time role working 0830 - 1630. Flexibility is a must, as part of the role you're required to be on call.

At Ryman, our Resident Services Manager wears many hats; leading with kindness and clarity, this role is a key playerin our multi-disciplinary village leadership team. Whilst working closelywith the Village Manager, Clinical Manager and Facilities Manager, in this role you will:

• Lead the effective delivery of the Village service functions which includes our kitchen, housekeeping, laundry and administration teams
• Have oversight for all risk management and health and safety related processes for the village
• Be responsible for Human Resource tasks within the village including inductions, recruitment, training, performance reviews and payroll assistance
• Actively managing the roster for Auxiliary teams ensuring adequate staffing levels are maintained
• Provide leadership at the Village in the absence of the Village Manager
