CFC Underwriting in Brisbane is seeking an Underwriter to join our Financial Lines team and help grow a dynamic portfolio. You will manage renewals, assess new business opportunities, and deliver high-quality service to brokers while staying aligned with underwriting guidelines.

You will build strong broker relationships, monitor portfolio performance, and participate in market engagement to support growth. A proactive, sales-oriented mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Financial Lines underwriter.
• Strong understanding of the Australian insurance market.
• Commitment to following, applying, and interpreting underwriting guidelines.
• Strong commercial acumen and a drive to maintain a profitable portfolio.
• Positive, professional and proactive attitude.
• Strong sales orientation and confidence in pursuing and closing new business.

About the role:

You will play a key role in managing and growing a Financial Lines portfolio by handling renewals, assessing and converting new business opportunities, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to brokers.
