CFC is seeking a motivated Underwriter to join our Brisbane Financial Lines team, focusing on renewals, new business opportunities, and delivering high-quality service to brokers. You will manage and grow a Financial Lines portfolio, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with underwriting guidelines and legislation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in Financial Lines underwriting, strong knowledge of the Australian market, and a proactive, sales-oriented mindset to pursue profitable

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a Financial Lines underwriter.
• Strong understanding of the Australian insurance market.
• A commitment to following, applying, and interpreting underwriting guidelines.
• Strong commercial acumen and a determination to maintain a profitable portfolio.
• Positive, professional, and proactive attitude.
• Strong sales orientation, with confidence in pursuing and closing new business.

Responsibilities

Are you a motivated and relationship-driven insurance professional looking to take the next step in your Underwriting Career? We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Underwriter to join our Brisbane Financial Lines team and support our growing Financial Lines portfolio.

About the role: You will play a key role in managing and growing a Financial Lines portfolio by handling renewals, assessing and converting new business opportunities, and delivering responsive, high-quality service to brokers. You'll monitor portfolio performance, ensure compliance with underwriting and legislative requirements, stay across industry developments, and actively participate in market engagement and networking activities.

Responsibilities Include:
