Job summary

CHU Underwriting Agencies in Sydney is seeking a property underwriting professional to deliver exceptional customer service, manage renewals and new business, and provide timely premium quotes. You will monitor loss ratios and implement risk improvements within your authority level, contributing to CHU's industry leadership.

The role aligns with CHU's hybrid working model across multiple locations in Australia, offering flexibility, professional development, and opportunities to deepen expertise

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in property underwriting.
• Strata underwriting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of strata management industry is a plus.
• Established relationships in broker market are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Consistent delivery of exceptional customer service within agreed workflow timeframes.
• Underwriting renewals, new business & endorsements in line with underwriting authority level.
• Provide premium quotes in a timely and professional manner.
• Monitoring and reporting on loss ratio.
• Actively implementing risk improvements on a regular basis.
