Job summary

MMG Limited's Rosebery Mine in Tasmania is seeking a Level B Operator to safely undertake underground utility and operational tasks.

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will contribute to dewatering, ventilation, electrical infrastructure, and site safety while working a 7-on, 7-off roster.

The role requires experience in underground mining, strong communication, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining environments.
• Knowledge of underground practices and safety.
• Experience installing or maintaining underground services.
• Ability to operate underground mobile equipment.
• Strong handover communication.

Responsibilities

• Follow shift plans and supervisor instructions.
• Support underground production and development tasks.
• Install, extend and maintain underground services.
• Complete and submit shift reports.
• Conduct end-of-shift handovers.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in a safe condition.
• Participate in safety meetings and MMG programs.
