Job summary

Catalyst Metals Limited is seeking experienced Underground Truck Operators to join our expanding underground operations at the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA. You’ll operate a modern Sandvik fleet and haul ore and waste to plan, while upholding strict safety standards and collaborating with crews across satellite deposits.

This role offers 8:6 / 7:7 FIFO rosters, long-term job security, and a clear progression path within a growing Australian mining business.

Qualifications

• Underground truck operator with Sandvik haul trucks.
• Strong safety record and safe work practices.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining environments.
• Team player with reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Current DGSC.
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sandvik underground haul trucks safely and efficiently.
• Haul ore and waste according to mine plans and production schedules.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment faults.
• Maintain a high standard of housekeeping and workplace safety.
• Follow site procedures and legislative requirements.
• Communicate with Supervisors, Bogger Operators and Mine Control.
• Contribute to safe, productive and efficient underground operations.
• Support a positive team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

As an experienced Underground Truck Operator, you'll play an important role in supporting safe and productive gold mining operations across our growing underground business. Working with experienced crews and operating a modern Sandvik fleet, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient haulage of ore and waste while contributing to the delivery of production targets.

• Operate Sandvik underground haul trucks safely and efficiently
• Haul ore and waste in accordance with mine plans and production schedules

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous underground truck operating experience using Sandvik haul trucks
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Experience working in underground hard rock mining environments
• Ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
