Job summary

Pryce Mining Services seeks experienced Underground Supervisors to join our team and oversee underground operations across multiple sites in New South Wales. Successful candidates will display autonomy, strong safety focus, and a proven track record in hardrock mining.

A NSW Underground Supervisor Certificate of Competency is required. We offer a competitive roster, 14/14 shift pattern with flights from Sydney or Brisbane, and opportunities to advance within a leading underground labour hire

Qualifications

• Experience in underground mining operations and safety protocols.
• Ability to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Proven ability to investigate incidents and document findings.
• Experience mentoring crew and developing on-shift staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise underground tasks and ensure safe production.
• Enforce safety standards and coordinate with management.
• Identify hazards and lead root-cause investigations when incidents occur.
• Mentor and develop on-shift personnel to advance mining careers.

Requirements for the role:

• Must hold a New South Wales Underground Supervisor Certificate of Competency
• Have a minimum of 5 years hardrock mining experience
• Able to recognise hazards and be proactive in their rectification.
• Able toinvestigate incidents and complete appropriate paperwork
• Proactive in mentoring on-shift employees and develop their mining career
• Liase with upper management to achieve safety & productions targets
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen
• Be able to supply a National Police Clearance
• Valid manual driver's license

These positions will require self-motivated people who are used to working autonomously and are able to communicate effective with the management team to ensuresafe,efficient production.

The roster for these roles is 14/14 with flights included from Sydney or Brisbane.
