Job summary

Gold Fields’ Agnew gold mine in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Supervisor to lead a high-performing crew and drive safe, efficient underground production. FIFO from Perth on a 8/6 roster, you will mentor crews, plan daily operations, and ensure compliance with safety systems while delivering results.

Reporting to the Coordinator Underground Production, you’ll help the team achieve targets and maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Proven underground supervisory experience in mining environments.
• Strong leadership to motivate and guide underground crews.
• Underground Supervisor Certificate (2022 Regulations) and DG Security Card.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise underground crews to deliver safe and efficient shift outcomes.
• Plan and supervise daily operations, addressing technical issues and improvement opportunities.
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site safety systems and procedures.
• Coaching and mentoring crew members to build capability and a high-performance culture.
• Collaborating with business partners and coordinators to implement initiatives, projects, and team development plans.

Job description

• FIFO from Perth I 8:6 days, 7:7 nights rotating roster at Agnew gold mine
• Drive safe and efficient underground production and development in a dynamic mining environment
• Underground Supervisor Certificate (2022 Regulations) required

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Underground Supervisor to lead a high-performing crew and drive safe and efficient production at Agnew gold mine.

Working with a supportive leadership team, you’ll play a key role in supervising daily production and development activities, mentoring your crew and ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
