Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a dedicated underground shotcrete operator to join our mining crew. You’ll install ground support systems and ensure development areas remain safe, stable, and compliant with safety standards.

In this role you will operate spray equipment, conduct pre-starts, monitor mix quality, and work closely with a collaborative crew to deliver results on long-term projects while upholding our safety and teamwork values.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground shotcrete spraying equipment safely and efficiently
• Apply shotcrete to specified thickness and quality standards in accordance with ground support designs
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Monitor shotcrete quality, mix consistency, and application rates
• Complete pre-starts and report hazards or defects immediately
• Help teammates, share knowledge and support a strong crew culture
