With more than 15 years of mine life ahead of us, there's never been a better time to join our underground team. We take pride in the ground we work in - competent rock, a strong safety culture and a modern Sandvik fleet that sets you up for success. As we grow across the belt, our satellite operations are creating opportunities for exposure to different ore bodies and mining environments, including upcoming narrow vein and paste-fill operations. This provides variety in your day-to-day work and the chance to broaden your underground capability across multiple styles of mining. Backed by long-term job security and genuine progression pathways, this is a place where you can build a sustainable underground career while continuing to develop your skills. As a Mining Supervisor, you'll play a key role in leading crews, delivering safe and productive outcomes, and supporting the continued growth of our underground operations.
This opportunity offers genuine variety. You may work as Shift Boss / Shift Supervisor at our main underground operation, or across our satellite deposits where you'll be part of a smaller, tight-knit team and take a more hands‑on approach to leadership.
In these environments, you'll guide your crew, fulfil your statutory responsibilities, and step in where needed to keep operations moving safely and efficiently.
You'll have the opportunity to influence how we operate, mentor developing team members and help build capable, high‑performing crews. Backed by long-term job security and genuine progression pathways, this is an opportunity to develop your leadership capability within a growing Australian gold producer.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
FIFO isn't for everyone - it requires commitment and time away from home. That's why we place strong emphasis on creating a supportive team culture, approachable leadership and an environment where people work hard, back each other in, and still find time to have a laugh and enjoy what site has to offer.
