Catalyst Metals is seeking a Bogger Operator to join its underground operation south of Perth on a FIFO roster. You will operate Sandvik LHDs with RTC, move tonnes safely, and support production across development and production areas. Emphasis on safety, teamwork, and productivity in a modern underground mine.

Experience with LH514/LH517, RTC systems, and a C-Class licence are essential; DGSC and police clearance are required or obtainable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground boggers with RTC systems.
• Experience with Sandvik LH514/LH517 in underground mining.
• Strong safety focus and ability to work in production environments.
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence and DGSC.

Responsibilities

• Operate tele-remote Sandvik loaders safely within underground production areas.
• Bog production stopes and transfer material to stockpiles and passes.
• Load underground haul trucks according to production needs.
• Maintain underground roadways and working areas to site standards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report defects or maintenance needs.
• Comply with site procedures, safety standards and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Truck Operators and Mine Control to hit targets.

About the Role

As we build toward 2.2 million tonnes per annum, efficient load and haul performance is central to achieving production targets. Our Bogger Operators are critical to keeping headings clean, stopes productive and ore moving safely to surface. Operating modern Sandvik LHDs equipped with RTC systems, you'll work across development and production areas, maintaining steady material movement and supporting cycle time optimisation. This is a role for operators who understand production flow and take ownership of tonnes moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Load underground haul trucks in accordance with production requirements
• Maintain underground roadways and working areas to site standards
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance requirements

• Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Truck Operators and Mine Control to achieve production targets
• Contribute to a safe, productive and positive underground team culture

About You

• Experienced in operating underground boggers (LHDs) equipped with Remote Tele-Remote Control (RTC) systems
• Experienced operating Sandvik LH514 and LH517 loaders in underground mining environments
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within underground production environments
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
