Job summary

Catalyst Metals Limited operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA and is seeking an Underground Service Crew Operator to support safe, productive underground mining. You’ll install and maintain essential underground services, work with experienced crews, and contribute to a growing mining operation in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground hard rock mining environments.
• Experience installing and maintaining underground services and ventilation.
• Cable bolting experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan and execute underground service crew activities.
• Install and maintain underground services and ventilation in development and production headings.
• Install, remove and maintain secondary ventilation fans.
• Install cable bolts according to ground support plans.
• Assist Jumbo Operators and Charge-up Operators as required.
• Operate underground dump trucks and other mobile equipment as required.
• Conduct thorough pre-start inspections and report defects.
• Assist electricians with high-voltage cable installation.
• Mentor and support junior Service Crew members.
• Maintain high safety, housekeeping and compliance standards.
