Redpath Mining Australia is seeking experienced Underground Rhino Operators to join the Lake Cowal Underground Gold Mine project in New South Wales. You will operate Rhino raise drilling equipment, support ventilation and service infrastructure, and contribute to safe and efficient underground development.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience operating Rhino raise drills or similar equipment.
• Strong understanding of underground mine development and raise drilling practices.
• Commitment to safety and operating excellence.
• Ability to work effectively within a high‑performing team.
• Hold relevant mining competencies, licences and tickets.
• Able to pass site medical and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Rhino raise drill equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete slot raises, ventilation raises and service raises to plan.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Monitor drilling performance and maintain accuracy.
• Identify and rectify minor equipment issues.
• Ensure work complies with site safety standards and procedures.
