Job summary

Redpath Australia is seeking an experienced Underground Jumbo Operator to join our Lake Cowal operations in New South Wales. You will operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs to develop headings and support mining development while upholding safety and production standards.

This role offers a 2/2 roster, comprehensive training and the opportunity to contribute to a long-term project with a respected global contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground jumbo drills.
• Proven ability to drill development headings.
• Commitment to safety and production standards.
• Ability to pass site medical and employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate twin-boom jumbo drill rigs safely and efficiently.
• Drill development headings in accordance with mine plans.
• Accurately mark up and drill production and development rounds.
• Perform pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Identify and rectify minor equipment issues where appropriate.
• Ensure drilling activities meet safety, quality and production targets.
• Work closely with supervisors, charge-up crews and underground staff.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents and equipment defects.
• Maintain high housekeeping and operational standards underground.
