Job summary

Bellevue Gold Limited (ASX:BGL) is seeking an experienced Mining Engineer - Underground Production to optimise safe recovery and deliver the production schedule at the Bellevue Gold Mine in Western Australia.

The role involves designing stope shapes, drilling and blasting plans, and coordinating with geology, geotechnical and planning teams to maximise recovery while maintaining safety. WA FCMMCC experience and Deswik competency are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Tertiary degree in Mining Engineering.
• Experience in mechanised underground mining.
• Completed WA FCMMCC UG practical experience.
• Deswik competency.
• Ventilation or infrastructure experience preferred.
• Autonomy with good time management.
• Strong communication, literacy, numeracy and presentation skills.
• Outstanding analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Optimise safe recovery through stope design and blasting plans to support the production schedule.
• Collaborate with Geology and Geotechnical teams to optimise recovery and safety.
• Design safe work plans for vertical development (stope slotting and raiseboring).
• Develop drill patterns and QAQC activities for underground operations.
• Identify waste backfill areas and plan safe tipping locations.
• Prepare prep and charge plans and contribute to QAQC processes.
• Support business improvement to optimise mining cycle.
• Assist Senior Production Engineer on improvement projects.
• Work with the mine planning team to improve 12-week schedule execution.
• Collect and analyse data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Conduct ventilation surveys as required.
• Track daily/weekly mine plan compliance.
