Job summary

Bellevue Gold Limited invites applications for an Alternate Underground Manager to lead safe development and execution of the Bellevue mine plan in Western Australia. The role requires technical oversight of underground operations, safety frameworks and collaboration with the planning department.

Based at the Bellevue Gold Project, Leinster WA, the role works a 12-hour day on an 8 days on, 6 days off roster, reporting weekly and quarterly on performance, safety, and costs.

Qualifications

• WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate (non-coal) required.
• 6+ years in underground mechanized mining.
• 3+ years in a senior/supervisory role.
• Proficient with Deswik software (CAD & Scheduler).
• Strong technical background in underground production, ventilation, scheduling, design and planning.
• Experience in budgeting and tracking mine costs.
• Experience with INX and PRONTO software (preferred).
• Attention to detail, analytical, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Hold the statutory appointment as Alternate Underground Manager and ensure procedures align with WHS Acts and Regulations.
• Apply risk management to safely deliver the budget plan and forecasts.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive continuous improvement across safety frameworks.
• Develop and review mine infrastructure strategy and cost tracking.
• Mentor and manage the Technical Services team to achieve strategic goals.
• Oversee reporting and risk review for the mine plan and operations.
