Job summary

MCA Engineering is seeking experienced Underground Operators for a major underground construction project in Central West NSW. Roles include Tilt Tray, Loader, Excavator, Telehandler and Concrete Pump Operators with duties spanning plant operation, material handling and site safety.

You will work a 2:1 roster on day and night shifts, complete pre-start inspections and report faults, and collaborate with supervisors and trades to deliver safe, efficient underground progress.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating tilt trays, loaders, excavators, telehandlers or concrete pumps.
• Underground mining or construction experience.
• Relevant licences, tickets and machinery competencies for your role.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Operating plant and equipment to support underground construction activities
• Loading, moving and positioning materials, equipment and components
• Operating tilt trays to transport equipment and materials
• Completing excavation and earthmoving work
• Operating telehandlers to move and place materials
• Operating concrete pumps to support underground pours
• Conducting pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks
• Identifying and reporting equipment faults or maintenance requirements
• Working safely with supervisors, trades and construction crews in accordance with site procedures
