Job summary

MCA Engineering is expanding its underground construction team in Central West NSW. We seek Experienced Underground Operators including Tilt Tray, Loader, Excavator, Telehandler and Concrete Pump Operators to support a major underground project.

Responsibilities include operating plant, loading and transporting materials, and performing pre-start inspections on shift. Candidates must have relevant licences and an ability to work 2:1 day/night rosters, with a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

• Experience operating tilt trays, loaders, excavators, telehandlers or concrete pumps.
• Underground mining or construction experience.
• Relevant licences, tickets and machinery competencies for your role.
• Ability to conduct pre-start inspections and identify equipment faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate plant and equipment to support underground construction activities.
• Load, move and position materials, equipment and components.
• Operate tilt trays to transport equipment and materials.
• Complete excavation and earthmoving work.
• Operate telehandlers to move and place materials.
• Operate concrete pumps to support underground pours.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Identify and report equipment faults or maintenance requirements.
• Work safely with supervisors, trades and crews.
