Job summary

Regis Resources is seeking an experienced Paste Fill Supervisor for an underground mining team on a site-based FIFO 8:6 roster. The role focuses on safe supervision of paste plant operations and underground paste fill activities to achieve production targets while upholding safety, quality and performance standards.

The successful candidate will lead paste fill crews, operate the paste plant when required, and coach team members to maintain competency within a zero-harm culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in underground hard rock mining or paste fill operations.
• Experience supervising paste plant and underground fill activities.
• Strong leadership with ability to coordinate crews and provide direction.
• Understanding of safety systems and risk management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Site-based licences and willingness to work towards supervisor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise paste plant and underground paste fill activities to meet production schedules.
• Lead paste fill crews and contractors to achieve objectives.
• Operate the paste plant for start-up, shutdown, cleaning and fault response.
• Oversee underground paste fill activities including reticulation, line flushing, wall preparation, filling and inspections.
• Monitor paste delivery, binder addition and operating parameters for quality.
• Conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments and pre-start meetings.
• Coordinate maintenance and report defects.
• Maintain shift records and handovers.
• Coach and develop team members to build competency.
• Participate in incident investigations and continuous improvement projects.
