Job summary

PMM Personnel is seeking experienced Underground Operators to join a growing underground mining operation at the Merlin Mine Site in Queensland. FIFO from NSW & QLD is available with a 2:2 roster and day shifts, offering competitive hourly rates and super paid on all hours worked.

Opportunities include operating underground trucks, agitators or loaders. The role emphasizes safety, pre-start checks, and delivering ore and backfill while collaborating with underground crews on a modern fleet.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience and current Australian driver's licence.
• Experience operating underground trucks, agitators or loaders.
• Strong commitment to safety and able to pass pre-employment medical.
• Clean National Police Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground mobile equipment safely and efficiently.
• Haul ore and waste material underground.
• Deliver concrete and backfill products where required.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Maintain production targets and site standards.
• Report equipment defects and hazards.
• Work closely with underground crews and supervisors.
• Follow all site safety procedures.

PMM Personnel is currently seeking experienced Underground Operators to join a growing underground mining operation at the Merlin Mine Site.

These positions may involve operating Underground Trucks, Agitators or Loaders, depending on your experience and site requirements.

About the Role

Essential Requirements

• Previous Underground Mining Experience

• Ability to Pass Drug & Alcohol Screening
