Job summary

PMM Personnel is seeking experienced Jumbo Operators for a growing underground mining operation at Merlin Mine Site. Enjoy premium rates, an even-time 2:2 FIFO roster, and long-term project stability on a modern underground fleet.

This role requires underground jumbo operating experience with Sandvik DD series jumbos and a strong safety focus. FIFO opportunities from NSW & QLD are available; day shifts only.

Qualifications

• Previous underground jumbo operating experience is required.
• Experience operating Sandvik DD series jumbos is essential.
• Underground hard rock mining experience is required.
• Ability to read and interpret drill plans is essential.
• Current Australian driver's licence is mandatory.
• Strong commitment to safety is essential.
• Must pass a full pre-employment medical.
• Must pass drug and alcohol screening.
• Clean national police clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sandvik DD421 Development Jumbos in line with mine plans.
• Complete development drilling to plan specifications.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Maintain drilling accuracy and productivity targets.
• Work closely with Underground Supervisors and Development Crews.
• Report equipment defects and operational issues.
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures.
