Job summary

PMM Personnel is seeking experienced Charge Up Operators to join a growing underground mine operation at the Merlin Mine Site in Cloncurry, QLD. This role offers premium rates, super paid on all hours worked, and a stable long-term project with a modern fleet.

You will operate underground charge-up equipment safely, perform pre-start checks, support production targets, and work on a 2:2 FIFO roster from NSW and QLD with day shifts.

Qualifications

• Underground charge-up experience required.
• Experience operating Charmec equipment highly regarded.
• Underground hard rock mining experience.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• Current Shotfirer's Licence highly regarded.
• Strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
• Clean National Police Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground charge-up equipment safely and efficiently.
• Charge production and development headings.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and equipment checks.
• Maintain compliance with explosives handling procedures.
• Work closely with production and development crews.
• Support production targets and site requirements.
• Maintain safe operating practices at all times.
