Job summary

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is seeking experienced underground mining operators to join the Ballarat Mine Site on a permanent full-time basis. You will operate underground equipment, perform inspections, and uphold safety and efficiency while contributing to targeted outcomes.

The role offers a 7/7 12-hour shift roster, pre-employment checks, and a performance-based monthly bonus through the Employee Incentive Scheme.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: Australian Driver's Licence
• Proven ability to maintain safe work practices while balancing multiple priorities and contributing positively to team performance.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to teamwork and shared out outcomes.
• Commitment to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, and cooperative workplace in accordance with company policies, procedures, and behavioural expectations.
• Previous experience in role being applied for.
• Demonstrated experience in underground mining operations.
• Current Explosives (Black ticket) license for Charge-up Operators or adequate experience to obtain one

Responsibilities

• Safely and productively operate underground mining equipment and vehicles.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and operate machinery to ensure maximum availability and minimal damage.
• Follow all site safety procedures, standards, and regulations.
• Strive to achieve and improve safety, production and development across the mine.
• Communicate effectively and positively with supervisors and team members.
• Identify and report hazards, incidents, and equipment faults.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
