Job summary

Victory Minerals Pty Ltd is seeking a CTF Operator/Project Crew Member to support a range of site projects in Ballarat. The role will initially operate on a 5:2, 4:3 roster with potential transition to a 7:7 dayshift roster.

You will service, maintain and repair underground plant and equipment, inspect pipelines, install infrastructure, and perform daily material sampling. Applicants should hold a current Australian driver’s licence; trades experience is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Current Australian Driver's licence required.
• A Trade is highly desirable (e.g. Carpentry, handyman, Fitter, Boilermaker).
• Experience operating mechanised, lifting and handheld equipment.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work underground and complete an Underground induction.
• Able to multi-task and prioritise with minimal supervision.
• Pre-employment medical and police check; valid working rights essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate the CTF to transport paste underground.
• Underground inspections of pipelines, valves and equipment; replace parts as needed.
• Install surface and underground infrastructure, including valves and pipes.
• Daily sampling of materials to ensure correct mixtures.
• Assist the Fixed Plant Fitter with pump repairs and servicing.
• Undertake small and major project work: pump stations, fans, vents.
• Maintain main dewatering, air and mine water systems.
• Machine operations (IT equipment, loaders).
• Maintain housekeeping and a safe work environment.
• Organise materials and equipment for maintenance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and/or breakdowns of plant and equipment.
