Job summary

PYBAR Mining Services in Townsville and surrounding areas is seeking motivated Underground Nipper / Agi Operators to join our Eloise and Jericho projects. This full-time role offers a 15/13 roster (14 nights on / 14 days off) with opportunities to work both independently and as part of a high-performing team.

You'll gain hands-on experience in underground operations, with learning from seasoned professionals and access to PYBAR Perks, training, and potential study support.

Qualifications

• Previous underground mining experience is beneficial.
• A valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence is essential.
• Working at Heights certification is beneficial.
• Queensland Explosive Security Clearance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support underground operations and site activities.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure safe, efficient ore extraction.

Underground Mining Nipper / Agi Operator

We deliver projects across Australia, from large, established mining operations to greenfield developments. Our capabilities span mine development, production, cable bolting and drilling, raise boring, shotcreting, and fleet services.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking motivated Nippers / Agi Operators based in the Townsville or Mt Isa region to join our growing team at our Eloise and Jericho project. This role offers the chance to work both independently and as part of a high performing team, while learning from experienced professionals in the underground mining industry.

You’ll play a key part in supporting our underground operations, gaining valuable skills and knowledge to grow your mining career.

ROSTER & LOCATION:

• Full-time position on a 15 days on / 13 days off roster, 14 nights on / 14 days off.
• This position is best suited to candidates who are located around the Townsville, Mt Isa, Cloncurry region.
