Job summary

Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operation in New South Wales is seeking an Underground Mining Engineer to design and schedule underground mining works and support expanding operations.

You will report to the Senior Mining Engineer, require a Mining Engineering degree and 2–5 years of underground experience, familiarity with NSW regulations, and proficiency in Deswik CAD and Interactive Scheduler; 8:6 roster, residential or DIDO to West Wyalong.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years’ experience in underground mining (startup experience advantageous).
• Familiarity with NSW regulatory frameworks and risk management practices.
• Proficiency in mine design software, ideally Deswik CAD and Interactive Scheduler.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
