Job summary

Evolution Mining's Cowal Gold Operations in NSW seeks a Senior Engineer - Medium Term Planning (Underground) to shape the mine's evolution over the coming years; you will deliver medium-term underground plans and scenario analyses that influence budgets and development priorities.

Based near West Wyalong on a 5:2/4:3 roster, you will partner with operations, geology and planning teams to align plans with production goals and drive continuous improvement across mine design and scheduling.

Qualifications

• Mining Engineering degree or equivalent
• Experience developing and optimising underground mine plans and forecasts
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of underground hard rock mining methods and planning processes

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical medium-term underground mine plans, stope designs and schedules that support safe, efficient and value driven outcomes.
• Influence key business decisions through scenario analysis, optimisation studies and long range planning initiatives.

As a Senior Engineer - Medium Term Planning (Underground), you'll play a critical role in shaping how Cowal's underground mine evolves over the next several years. Reporting to the Superintendent - Medium Term Planning, you'll:

• Partner closely with operations, geology, geotechnical and planning teams to align mine plans with production and growth objectives.
