Job summary

WorkPac Group in Australia is seeking an experienced Mine Trades Technician to support underground workshop operations. This 10-week contract features a 7/7 roster with rotating day and night shifts and an hourly rate of $112.54.

You will perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment, conduct fault finding, complete preventative tasks, and maintain records, while upholding site safety and procedures.

Qualifications

• Safety must be a priority on site.
• Teamwork and collaborative approach to maintenance tasks.
• Mechanical trade qualification is required to perform trades work.
• Standard 11 certification is required.
• Coal Board Medical must be current.
• Current Driver's Licence is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostic activities.
• Complete preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Inspect equipment and ensure compliance with maintenance schedules.
• Work with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintain maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhere to all site safety and operational procedures.
