Job summary

WorkPac Group is seeking an experienced Mine Trades Technician to support underground workshop operations in Moranbah, Queensland. The role involves maintenance and repairs of underground equipment, fault finding, and ensuring adherence to maintenance schedules reflective of a high-safety environment.

You will work a 7/7 roster with rotating day and night shifts, collaborating with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime. Relevant trade qualification and medicals are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter) required.
• Current Standard 11 required.
• Current Coal Board Medical required.
• Current Driver's Licence required.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Performing maintenance and repairs on underground mining equipment.
• Conducting fault finding and diagnostic activities.
• Completing preventative and breakdown maintenance tasks.
• Inspecting equipment and ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules.
• Working collaboratively with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Adhering to all site safety and operational procedures.
