Job summary

AAMG Autonomy & Asset Management Group is expanding its QLD maintenance workforce and we're seeking experienced Boilermakers to join our on-site team in Moranbah. You will perform fabrication, welding and maintenance across a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

Join a safety-focused crew with 12.5-hour shifts, a 7/7 roster, bus transport from Mackay or DIDO options, and competitive hourly rates with superannuation. Road-tested tradespeople are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade or equivalent.
• Proven experience in welding, gouging, cutting and general fabrication.
• Current HA/Coal Board Medical.
• Current Standard 11.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
• HRWL as required for the role.
• Demonstrated mining, heavy earthmoving or mobile plant maintenance experience.
• Strong work ethic and safety commitment.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out fabrication, welding, repairs and maintenance to support equipment reliability.
• Performing welding, gouging, cutting and general fabrication work.
• Supporting preventative maintenance, repairs and breakdown activities.
• Working on heavy mobile plant and mining equipment.
• Following site safety procedures and maintaining high-quality workmanship.
• Collaborating with fitters, supervisors and the maintenance team.
