Greatland Resources Limited is seeking an Underground Mechanical Technician to operate and assist with maintenance of the Telfer Hoisting System, dewatering and ore handling equipment. The role emphasizes safety, environmental compliance and adherence to company values while supporting maintenance and operational needs on a FIFO basis from Perth.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification required.
• Basic SAP knowledge.
• Current WA manual driver’s license; HR license advantageous.
• EWP licence required.
• Overhead Crane ticket required.
• CN (Franna) ticket required.
• Forklift licence required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with site safety policies, procedures and standards.
• Perform maintenance activities in line with safety and operational requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards promptly.
• Execute preventative maintenance to required standards.
• Identify equipment faults and raise work requests for corrective action.
• Lead small teams on maintenance activities when required.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose faults across critical underground fixed plant equipment.
