Mammoth Underground Mine in Australia is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Underground Mechanical Fitter to join our underground operations team. This is a hands-on role maintaining critical mining equipment in a demanding underground coal environment, ensuring reliability, safety, and production efficiency.

You will work with a dedicated crew, adhere to site procedures, and contribute to maintenance planning while leveraging modern camp facilities and the camp life in Blackwater.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Fitter.
• Additional certifications such as DES, brake testing, working at heights, or welding and fabrication.
• Underground experience in Development or Cut Flit desirable

• Assist with equipment installations and upgrades
• Collaborate with crews to support production targets

About You (Skills & Experience)

• Trade qualification as a Fitter
• Additionalcertifications, such as DES, brake testing, working at heights, or welding and fabrication.
• Underground experience in Development or Cut Flit desirable
