Job summary

Redpath Mining Contractors and Engineers is seeking experienced Long Hole Production Drillers for the OK Decline Underground Gold Mine. This 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth offers an opportunity to contribute to a safety‑driven, high‑performing underground operation.

Reporting to the Underground Shift Supervisor, you will operate and maintain long hole drill rigs, drill to plan, and work closely with underground crews to achieve production targets while upholding strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous underground long hole drilling experience.
• Experience in underground hard rock or gold mining.
• Strong knowledge of underground mining safety systems.
• Commitment to safe work practices and safety culture.
• Australian Manual Driver's Licence.
• National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Operate long hole production drill rigs underground.
• Drill production rings per mine plans and design specs.
• Pre-start inspections and routine maintenance.
• Maintain drilling accuracy to maximise ore recovery.
• Identify, report and rectify equipment defects and hazards.
• Maintain compliance with site safety procedures and standards.
• Collaborate with underground mining crews to achieve production targets.
