Catalyst Metals Limited operates the Plutonic Gold Mine in WA and is expanding underground production. Bogger Operators play a crucial role in keeping headings clean, ore moving, and production on track.

You will work with Sandvik LHDs, RTC controls, and a safety-first culture in a growing operation. The role suits experienced underground operators with a strong safety mindset, valid WA licences, and the ability to work on a 8:6 / 7:7 roster, supporting ongoing development and career progression

Qualifications

• Experience operating underground boggers (LHDs) with RTC systems.
• Experience operating Sandvik LH514/LH517 loaders in underground mining.
• Commitment to safety and safe work practices.
• Ability to work independently and show initiative.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proven ability to work in underground production environments.
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence.
• Current DGSC and National Police Clearance or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Operate tele-remote Sandvik loaders safely in underground production areas.
• Bog production stopes and transfer material to stockpiles and ore passes.
• Load underground haul trucks according to production requirements.
• Maintain underground roadways and working areas to site standards.
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance needs.
• Comply with site procedures, safety standards and legislative requirements.
• Collaborate with Supervisors, Truck Operators and Mine Control to meet targets.
• Contribute to a safe, productive underground team culture.

About the Role

As we build toward 2.2 million tonnes per annum, efficient load and haul performance is central to achieving production targets. Our Bogger Operators are critical to keeping headings clean, stopes productive and ore moving safely to surface.

Operating modern Sandvik LHDs equipped with RTC systems, you’ll work across development and production areas, maintaining steady material movement and supporting cycle time optimisation.

This is a role for operators who understand production flow and take ownership of tonnes moved safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate tele-remote Sandvik loaders safely and efficiently within underground production areas
• Bog production stopes and transfer material to stope stockpiles and ore passes
• Load underground haul trucks in accordance with production requirements
• Maintain underground roadways and working areas to site standards
• Conduct pre-start inspections and report equipment defects or maintenance requirements
• Comply with site procedures, safety standards and legislative requirements
• Work collaboratively with Supervisors, Truck Operators and Mine Control to achieve production targets
• Contribute to a safe, productive and positive underground team culture

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experienced in operating underground boggers (LHDs) equipped with Remote Tele-Remote Control (RTC) systems
• Experienced operating Sandvik LH514 and LH517 loaders in underground mining environments
• Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Proven ability to work effectively within underground production environments
• Current WA C-Class Driver's Licence
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card (DGSC)
• National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)
