Job summary

Macmahon Underground is recruiting Bogger Operators for the Snowy River Gold Mine Project near Reefton on New Zealand’s South Island. You will contribute to underground development, production and backfill services starting October 2026, operating Sandvik and CAT loaders with a strong safety focus.

We seek operators with at least 12 months of underground loader experience, a team mindset, and a commitment to a positive crew culture.

Qualifications

• 12+ months experience operating Sandvik and CAT underground loaders.
• Strong safety focus and ability to speak up.
• Team mindset and reliable work ethic.
• Commitment to positive culture.
• NZ Class 1 (unrestricted manual) licence with DG endorsement desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate Sandvik and CAT underground loaders safely and efficiently.
• Inspect loaders and report damages.
• Complete end-of-shift reports and documents.
• Communicate clearly with crew and supervisors.
• Keep ore, low grade, marginal and waste separate and organized.
