Job summary
Catalyst Metals is seeking a motivated Jumbo Operator to work underground in Western Australia. You will operate modern Sandvik development drills, drill headings to design, and support ground stability with proper patterns and ground support.
The role emphasizes precision, safety, and a proactive maintenance mindset. Successful applicants will have experience with twin-boom jumbo equipment, the ability to read development plans, and a commitment to safe, efficient rock drilling in challenging
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
- Experience operating twin-boom jumbo underground.
- Ability to read and interpret development plans.
- Competent in marking headings to survey requirements.
- Current DGSC and relevant safety certifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate twin-boom development jumbo to drill headings to design.
- Accurately mark-up and drill development patterns.
- Install ground support in accordance with plan.
- Conduct face inspections and hazard identification.
- Maintain drilling accuracy to support efficient charging and blasting.
- Complete pre-starts and basic machine maintenance.
