Job summary

BelAyr Resources is seeking experienced Underground HD Fitters to join our maintenance team supporting a hard-rock mining operation in regional NSW. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a fleet of heavy mobile plant and performing breakdown and scheduled workshop work to ensure safe operations.

Applicants must have a trade qualification and at least 2 years’ post-trade experience in underground mining, with a strong safety focus and the ability to work as part of a team on a 7/7 rotating

Qualifications

• HD Fitter trade qualification required.
• Minimum 2 years’ post-trade experience in heavy equipment.
• Experience in underground hard rock mining.
• Experience maintaining mobile plant as listed.
• Strong safety focus.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.

Job description

We're looking for experienced Underground HD Fitters to join our high performing underground mining team in supporting a hard-rock mining operation in regional NSW.

As part of the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the fleet of heavy plant is maintained to a high standard for safe operations, including breakdown maintenance and scheduled workshop maintenance.

If you have an HD Fitter trade qualification and proven experience working in an underground mining environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

Follow all site safety procedures and protocols and contribute to a positive and proactive team culture.

About You

It's essential that you have each of the following:

• A minimum of 2 years’ post trade experience working with heavy equipment
• Proven experience in an underground hard rock mining environment
• Proven experience maintaining the mobile plant as listed above
• A strong safety focus
• The ability to work well as part of a team and independently
• A strong work ethic combined with a reliable and flexible approach
• The ability to work on a rotating 7/7 days and nights roster
