Job summary

Argo Natural Resources in Moranbah is seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters to join our Ironbark No.1 operation, working in Development, Outbye, or Longwall areas. You will support production targets and maintenance in a high‑safety culture.

The role requires significant underground coal experience, relevant trade qualifications, Standard 11 certification, and strong teamwork and communication skills. Camp meals are provided, with a 7/7 day/night roster and FIFO options.

About the Role

We are seeking experienced Underground Mechanical Fitters to join our team at Argo's Ironbark No.1 mine site. You will work in either Development, Outbye, or Longwall areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely and efficiently support production and maintenance targets while taking on other operational tasks as needed.
• Prepare, plan, and execute daily work according to approved weekly schedules.
• Ensure maintenance activities comply with relevant coal mining regulations and standards.
• Contribute to fostering a safe, positive, and collaborative workplace culture.
