Job summary
Evolution Mining is seeking an Electrical Technician at Northparkes Operations to maintain and improve the reliability of underground mining infrastructure and equipment. You will join the Electrical Maintenance team, performing planned and breakdown maintenance while supporting safe and efficient operations.
You will bring an Electrical Trade Qualification and NSW Electrical Licence, with experience in mining or heavy industry and strong fault-finding skills.
Qualifications
- Strong troubleshooting skills and practical maintenance approach.
- Commitment to keeping critical underground equipment operating reliably.
- Experience in mining, heavy industry or similar operational environment.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair underground electrical infrastructure and equipment.
- Support underground communication systems, including leaky feeder networks.
- Conduct fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance activities.
- Work on HV and LV electrical systems across site.
