Evolution Mining’s Northparkes Operations is seeking an Electrical Technician to maintain underground electrical infrastructure and equipment within the Electrical Maintenance team, supporting safe underground operations.

You will work on HV/LV systems, fault-finding, and maintenance activities, contributing to reliability and safety. The role offers a 4:3 or 7:7 roster and relocation support to join a premier mining company.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification and NSW Electrical Licence are required.
• Experience in mining, heavy industry, or similar operational environments is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills are essential.
• HV Qualification highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Maintain underground electrical infrastructure and equipment.
• Support underground communication systems, including leaky feeder networks.
• Perform fault-finding, repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Work on HV and LV electrical systems across site.
• Assist with shutdowns, installations and improvement projects.
• Contribute to equipment reliability and maintenance best practices.
• Maintain a strong safety culture and comply with site procedures.
