Job summary

COSOL in Australia seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer to support a portfolio of underground infrastructure projects at a major underground coal mining operation in Central Queensland.

This project-focused role covers planning, scoping and delivery of electrical infrastructure works within an underground mining environment, from early scoping through to handover. The FIFO arrangement from Brisbane includes flights, accommodation and paid travel.

Responsibilities

• Electrical engineering support for underground infrastructure projects
• Development and review of project scopes
• Preliminary engineering and technical assessments
• Supporting project planning and execution
• Review of electrical designs, specifications and technical documentation
• Identification of project requirements, constraints and interfaces
• Coordination with site operations, maintenance, engineering, contractors and project stakeholders
• Technical input into project risk, constructability and execution planning
• Supporting projects from early scoping through to implementation and handover
