Job summary

Epiroc Australia is seeking skilled Product Support Technicians (Drill Fitters) in Newman to support Pilbara Service Operations. Roles offer 8/6 or 2/2 rosters with FIFO from Perth and relocation options for WA-bound candidates.

The successful candidate will maintain and repair Epiroc Surface Drills, troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, and support customers on-site. This position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive HME maintenance knowledge and experience.
• Atlas Copco/Epiroc surface drills product knowledge and experience is essential particularly in Pit Vipers, D65's and T45's.
• Relevant Trade qualifications.
• An unrelenting safety focus.
• Commitment to providing quality customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Problem-solving ability, diagnostic and trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to handle and work under pressure.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with OH&S policies and procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to Epiroc Surface Drills.
• Diagnose and fault find mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical problems.
• Carry out modifications and installations to new machinery.
• Repair, rebuild and service customer machines.
• Provide support to customers as needed.
• Work collaboratively with all team members and stakeholders.
