Job summary

Barminco, part of the Perenti Group, is hiring a Pump Fitter for Bellevue Gold Mine on a 7/7 FIFO roster. You’ll install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps to ensure effective water management and uninterrupted mining operations.

Qualifications

• Underground pump fitter experience, ideally with dewatering exposure.
• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter.
• Ability to meet site access requirements (medical, DAS, NPC, license).

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair underground dewatering and service pumps.
• Monitor pump performance and respond to breakdowns.
• Conduct routine inspections, fault finding, and preventative maintenance.
• Assemble and maintain pipework, valves, and fittings.
• Work safely in an underground environment in line with site procedures.
• Liaise with operations and maintenance teams to support production.
