Job summary

Barminco, a global underground mining leader within the Perenti Group, seeks a Water Cart Operator across Western Australia to support underground operations. You will operate water trucks, assist with start-up/shutdown, and comply with mine plans to ensure safe, efficient development.

Ideal candidates have prior water cart experience in underground mining, strong safety awareness, and the ability to collaborate in a team. FIFO/DIDO options and career progression opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Water Cart Operator in underground mining.
• Strong understanding of underground mining processes and safety standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed mine plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate the Water Truck and other equipment in a safe manner.
• Machine start-up, operation, and shutdown knowledge.
• Understand and follow directions from supervisors as to required work area.
• Fill truck tank with water and spray water in designated areas.
• Monitor vehicle performance, fluid levels, and mechanical fitness.
